The Phone that Wouldn’t Die

When I went to Carnival my phone, an Iphone 5, was acting really weird.  I bought it used off the internet and I’ve had it almost a year. So I wasn’t surprised when it had it’s badly timed tantrum.iphone3

For some reason, my phone just stopped working. It wouldn’t unlock or turn off or anything.  I spent a lot of time just pressing buttons.  Finally, I gave up. And just went the first night without my phone.  Then, at 6AM.  My alarm went off because I was too dumb to turn off my alarms for the weekday. iphone

I frantically tried to get it to turn off.  I could only put it on nap.  Finally, exhausted and after twenty minutes of messing with this damn phone, I put it outside so it could die.  I didn’t die for almost an hour of ringing and ringing and ringing.  I thought I was going to go crazy.  I took out my sim card because I was considering throwing off the terrace just to make it stop.  Then it turned off around 6:30 AM only to wake up at 7:30 AM.

In the morning, my Australian roommate reset it.  I thought I had tried to do that but maybe dying and coming back to life gave it a better attitude in the morning.
