Chocolate Hills: Bohol, Philippines

On a high peak in a green vast forest is an outlook point. It views the geological anamoly of The Chocolate Hills. The smooth mounds burst with bright green grass. While the hills don’t have a lot of height they are stunning and a main attraction in Bohol. My mom and I declined the steep stairs to the look out point but we managed to get some fine shots from where we were.

Legend says the hills were formed by two giants engaging in a violent brawl. Their thrashes creates the unusual dips and pops in the landscape. Geologists believe the hills were formed by weather limestone that eventually grew grass.  Either way the sight is truly something to behold.
