A bit about me…

Wanderlust struck me young, when I took my first abroad trip to New Zealand at six-years-old.  It seems I was raised to become a traveler.

So when I graduated from University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology,  I wiped the sweat from my forehead, looked myself in the mirror and said, “Now what?”  Travel seemed like the logical option.

Currently, I’m an English teaching assistant with BEDA in Madrid, Spain.  I use Spain as a base to travel through Europe. I also lived in Tel Aviv, Israel for a few months in between working as a teacher.

This blog will reflect my thoughts during my twenty-something soul searching, exploring the creepy and beautiful in the world, and provide tips for vegetarian and budget travelers.

Now to explain the creepy and beautiful part of my blog.  While I love conventional sightseeing, I search for the creepy, strange, or morbid places that go overlooked like the Catacombs of Paris, The Bone Church of Evora and cemeteries around the globe.  Everyone can visit a church so why not visit a tomb or find a bone church?
